Good morning everyone
Cameron’s mum sent these photos last night to share with everyone. Cameron having fun making a snowman just a pity he didn’t finish his face but the snow got too heavy.
I look forward to hearing all your news next week. Keep sending the photos so I can share them with everyone.
Mrs Sinclair
Hi all!
I hope you are enjoying Workd Book Day and are enjoying some reading time when you are inside getting warm again!
As you saw from our post yesterday Mrs Lloyd and I have been busy working on our door display so that you can help us finish it when we are back at school.
I am just about to sit with my daughter and enjoy a book and a hot chocolate!
Hi
Casey wanted to share the big snowball she made yesterday with you. She’s now hoping to make a bigger one today 🙂 Casey was happy for me to share it with everyone.
Charlie is trying to build a snow house and Izaak has been sledging down the hill.
Mrs Sinclair
Hope Primary 4 are keeping safe and warm but also enjoying the snow!
It is World Book Day today so pick up your favourite book and enjoy some time reading!
Maybe share a story with your family!
Could you play a game of Charades and get your family to guess the book!
Design a book cover for your favourite book and post a picture on Dojo!!
Write a character description of your favourite character!
Here is the link to the World Book Day and you can find other activities on there !!
Thanks Miss Rodford
Just in case you get fed up playing in the snow. Some book day activities you can try!
You can use your own reading book or a book from home.
If you’d like to leave a comment about your book day activity I’d love to see and read them.

You will know by now that school will be closed today and tomorrow. The teachers have all worked really hard to provide exciting learning for you to access at home. Today’s challenge from me is all about extreme weather for all the scientists out there! Can you find out: *Where does snow come from? *How does it form? *Why we are having so much snow? *What makes this snow different? *When was the last time schools closed in West Lothian? Can you add photos / video from your garden and put your information into a SWAY or PowerPoint we can share at Assembly? Remember today is one of the most special days all year - World Book Day. We will celebrate in school next Thursday - can’t wait to see you all. STAY SAFE Mrs. Stewart
Since we are not able to work together in school today I’ve put together some things you can to do to get into the spirit of World Book Day! You can choose any from the list and you can work on your own or collaborate with others……I’m sure you are in touch with each other!
CLASS NOVEL – CHARLIE BONE ACTIVITIES
And, if you’ve worked too hard on all of that, relax, sit back with a mug of hot chocolate and enjoy two super ‘Biggest Book Show on Earth’ films with authors and illustrators sharing stories.

There are outdoor ideas and Maths activity links in my post from yesterday if you missed it!
See you all soon.
