P7B Review of the Week 18.9.20

Some highlights from this week include –

  • air resistance science with flying planes
  • floating and sinking testing of our sail boats
  • super examples of different types of adjectives
  • challenging multiples and factors in maths
  • amazing firefighter pieces of description writing
  • an actual fire drill!
  • refugee and asylum seeker research to find out about characters in ‘The Divided City’

  1. 1.I picked up a piece of litter to save the environment.
    2. I was successful at making my paper aeroplane right.
    3. I needed more help with my spelling.
    4. Working on my layout in my jotter.
    5. Decorating the rocks and then going on a hike in putting them at the top of the hill.

  2. 1. I picked up pieces of rubbish that I saw in the playground.

    2.I made my boat float.

    3.I found maths confusing abit on Wednesday.

    4.I could have thought of more growth words for spelling today.

    5.Im looking forward to do the Forest school activities.

  3. 1. We did prefect duties ( well some of us ).
    2. Making the paper aeroplanes.
    3. Nothing much.
    4. My boat but at least my boat still floated.
    5. Everything.

  4. 1) I helped do the lunches in the pack lunch hall on Thursday!
    2) The paper planes ✈️ 🗒
    3)The maths
    4)The boats that we made 🛥⛵️
    5)The Friday because I want to have my hair all crazy 😝 Along with everything else!!!!

  5. 1. Less fighting in the playground.
    2. Making the paper airplanes bc I found that a bit stressful but I managed.
    3.I don’t really think I needed help this week.
    4.stop drawing on my jotters and keeping my head down.
    5 The midnight feast.

    3 the problem solving because it was a bit tricky
    4 the folding of the paper airplane is where I could’ve worked harder
    5 I’m most looking forward to the orienteering at Dalguise week.

    2.I was successful when I saw my boat floated on water.
    3.Making my big poster about refugees.
    4.I could of worked harder on my poster to get it finished quicker.
    5.Going to Forrest Schools with Mrs Fraser.

    2. Making the paper aeroplanes I got a little bit hard ,asking them but I got the hang of it.

    3. I didn’t need help with anything this week .

    4.i think I could of worked harder when we were doing the fire fighter writing peace.

    5. Going down to hay lodge to do forest school activities and having a disco.

  11. I helped Kingsland become a better place by helping a someone when they fell. This week I was successful with my building boat. This week I needed help with the maths a bit more. I could have worked harder on the refugee and asylum seeker poster. I am looking forward to the hike next week.

  12. 1) We recycled paper from our paper aeroplanes.
    2) I made a boat on Monday that floats.
    3) My friends helped me when making my boat because they drank out of plastic bOttles which I used.
    4) I could have made my boat better by doing more decoration.
    5) Having lunch outside!😎🤩🥳

  13. 1) This week I finished my duties in the lunch hall.
    2) I was successful when I made my paper aeroplane for science.
    3) I could have used some help when I done my firefighter writing.
    4) I could have made my boat a bit better.
    5) I am most looking forward for the hike.

    On Wednesday I needed some help with my maths .
    Outside in the playground Because most of the boys where not listening to the Teachers and Fighting.
    I am really looking forward to the hike.

    2.When my boat floated I was successful.
    3.I needed a bit of help to make my paper aeroplane.

  20. I set a good example when we did the fire drill.
    I was successful in the cahoot quiz because I came first.😀😀😀
    I needed some help when we where doing multiples and factors but I have got the hang of it now.
    I could have worked a little harder in the welcome to Peebles poster.
    I am looking forward to the forest school with mrs Fraser
