ABC Music

Hi everyone from Room 2.  Please try the spelling task today working on words ending in ck.  Hope you are all doing well.  Remember to do some physical exercise as well since we can’t do P.E. together just now.  If you haven’t already tried it, give Joe Wicks PE a go. It’s fun!  Miss all your lovely chatter and all your stories.

Good morning P7,

I hope you are all ok and doing what you can at home.  Remember your learning should be fun and you should be scheduling in regular breaks.  It has been so encouraging to see you using video calls to work together on things and to keep up your peer assessments for reading etc.  I am so impressed!

I have set up a maths, reading and spelling challenge on Sum Dog for this week. These challenges will encourage you to revisit some place value, er, ar and or endings that we have looked at in class and different areas of punctuation.

Remember I have put up GMT text in the class SharePoint folder so you can do some personal reading. Try to stick to the chapter assigned for each week.

You should try to sign up for Maths with Carol Vorderman to continue developing your mental maths skills. The website is www.themathsfactor.com. This is a great free resource and a fun way to do your number work.

Keep working on your assigned tasks for this week that you can find in our class folder in the SharePoint.  I am missing you very much and hope you are all keeping safe and well.

Teachers are working hard to upload all documents by today. Can we please ask that you do not alter or modify the original documents.  The tasks you see in the folder are for all of the pupils in the class.  If you want your child(ren) to write on the worksheets provided, you can save a copy or download a copy for them to work on.  The originals created by the teachers are view only documents.

MESSAGE FOR CHILDREN ATTENDING HUB PROVISION

Dear All

Can I ask that the children who have registered to attend the St Ambrose HUB school please take their home learning packs to work on.  Staffing is done on a rota basis and will be available to assist your child will anything they require help with.  I know that a lot of our tasks are online but it might be an idea to print some activities off for your child to take with them.
