Important Information About Young Scot Cards

We have received information from North Lanarkshire Council regarding Young Scot Cards.  These cards would normally be issued to all P7 pupils in preparation for them attending their High School day visits. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, their usual timescales and processes have been completely disrupted. The company who produce the cards have recently opened back up but it will take time to organise the production and delivery of the cards.

NLC are liaising with the National Entitlement Card Programme Office and await further guidance about what the new production timescales and arrangements will be for our local authority.  It is their aim to have cards produced for pupils returning to school in August.

In the meantime, young people aged 12+ can sign up for young scot membership and access additional opportunities, rewards and discounts on the web page. Our social media pages also contain lots of great information about events, opportunities and youth issues, so please follow @NLCYouthwork and encourage pupils and parents to do the same.
