Here is the suggested weekly timetable and underneath it you will find more detailed instructions for tasks and any links to resources needed. Afternoon check in has been changed to 1.30pm and reading calls will be on Monday and Thursday this week because of the holiday on Friday. Looking forward to a wee short week…we can do this!

  • Spelling – Look/say/cover/write/check 3 times & write dictionary definitions in lined jotter. (remember you can find the meanings online)
  • Reading – New books have been allocated on Bug Club. Please click on the link below for your group’s Bug Club Task Card, read the pages, answer the Bug questions and complete the tasks for Session 1 in lined jotter.

Lewis – Complete the page of the Phonics, Spelling & Vocabulary Booklet titled – ‘Shhh…’

  • Literacy – Writing task – ‘A Diary Entry of an Astronaut’
    • Write a diary entry imagining that you are an astronaut living on the International Space Station.
    • Include lots of adjectives describing space and the station.
    • Include your senses to help to describe where you are.
    • Use this checklist to help you write your diary entry.
