In Literacy we have been again focusing on comprehension skills while working our way through our reading books. We also really enjoyed creating our own poems where we had to follow a rhyming pattern and end each stanza with ‘…evacuees on the move.’

This week we started our Money topic in Maths. So far we have focused on Budgeting and Profit and Loss. We also had some time on the iPads where we researched Famous Mathematicians.

Our WW2 topic this week was looking at The Blitz. We also found out about the role of women in the war and how different it was for them. On Wednesday we had a 2 minute silence to remember the fallen Soldiers.

We had Miss Kelso on Friday this week. We continued our Time topic with her and started researching Anne Frank in preparation for some work next week so watch this space!
