Monday afternoon is jass maths time. This week I have uploaded some floating and sinking maths. Gather the items listed when out on a walk. Drop each item into some water to explore whether it floats or sinks. You could take the items collected home and run a basin or a bucket of water to test the floating or sinking. Alternatively if you are passing a stream or pond or similar on your walk you could test them there. Gather any other items while you are out and test them too.

Floating and sinking Maths

Choose a new ‘Book of the Week’ to read each day and organise a chore that you can be responsible for around the house or garden. You can also keep developing your independence by doing your own or helping to do your own pouring, spreading, cutting and organising of snacks and meals. Keep fit and active by getting outside for some exercise and fresh air.

Have a lovely Monday
