Health Week Friday

Our fabulous film director Mrs Wilson has put together a fun video showing how exercise helps us all to feel happy and the importance of rest and relaxation!

Can anyone join in with running, jumping, dancing, stretching?

Remember to have your families give you a pamper session afterwards!

Hope everyone has a lovely summer holiday.  All of the staff are looking forward to seeing everyone again in August!

Diane 🙂

Hello Mull Class

Hello Mull Class,

Today is Friday and it is Tour de France day. Today you can get out on your bike or any other set of wheels and experience cycling or travelling on flat ground, hilly ground and steep hills. You could also see how fast or how far you can go while you are timed. I have uploaded a visual support to follow.

Cycling all ways

When you are finished cycling you could make the French snack Le Gouter. It only requires two ingredients bread and chocolate spread.

Read your book for the last time this week and carry out your daily chore. Be independent by making or helping to make your snacks and lunch and when tidying up after activities. Most importantly get outside and keep fit and active.

Have a great Friday

Hello Mull Class

It is French topic day on a Thursday.

Today you can make a traditional French snack that the children in France eat for a snack at about 4pm each day. All you need is a slice of bread and chocolate spread. You can also explore Paris by looking at the document Michael created or choose some French songs to watch and listen to.

You can read your book of the week and carry out your daily chore. You can also be as independent  as you can when making snack, lunch and tidying up.

Most importantly, try to get out and get some exercise in the fresh air.

Have a great Thursday

Hello Mull Class

Hello Mull Class,

Wednesday is a jass morning in Mull Class. Try to keep fit and active by getting out for a walk in the fresh air. While you are out you could try and look for the insects in this weeks scavenger hunt. Can you touch any of them or hold them in your hands?

Scavenger hunt week 8

It is home economics on a Wednesday afternoon. Practice your chopping and mixing skills by making the cooked pasta or the baked rice dish. You could make it for your tea.

You can read your book of the week and carry out your chore. You can help to or do all your own chopping, mixing, pouring, spreading, cutting and tidying to being as independent as possible and get out in the fresh air for some exercise.

Whatever you decide to do keep safe and well and have fun,

Hello Mull Class

Monday afternoon is jass maths time. This week I have uploaded some floating and sinking maths. Gather the items listed when out on a walk. Drop each item into some water to explore whether it floats or sinks. You could take the items collected home and run a basin or a bucket of water to test the floating or sinking. Alternatively if you are passing a stream or pond or similar on your walk you could test them there. Gather any other items while you are out and test them too.

Floating and sinking Maths

Choose a new ‘Book of the Week’ to read each day and organise a chore that you can be responsible for around the house or garden. You can also keep developing your independence by doing your own or helping to do your own pouring, spreading, cutting and organising of snacks and meals. Keep fit and active by getting outside for some exercise and fresh air.

Have a lovely Monday
