It was wonderful to welcome your little people back after the October break and hear all the lovely things they got up to with their families during the holiday. They have settled back quickly into the routine of the school day and are continuing to work hard in class. I can already see that they are growing in confidence and are becoming more and more independent and self-motivated with their learning.

I’m sure this term will fly in with lots of festive fun – please check Twitter and Parent Portal for any important dates for your diary! Term 2 will have a strong focus on outdoor learning so please make sure your child comes to school with a jacket every day as we will be outdoors in all weathers! Our P.E. days this term are a Wednesday and Thursday so relaxed uniform and no jewellery on these days – please remove earrings before they go to school if possible. Mrs O’Hagan supports the children in the classroom througout the week and Miss Doyle will be teaching them Expressive Arts (Dance) and French on a Thursday morning and I hear that we have some very good movers in our class!
