Class Newsletter – Term 2

I hope you all had a lovely October Break with your loved ones. The children have settled back into our routine nicely and are continuing their hard work. The children will have PE on a Tuesday and Thursday. Thursday PE will be an outdoor slot, so if the children could come to school dressed appropriately for this. Miss Doyle will be working with Primary 4a on a Wednesday morning, covering Expressive Arts and Languages. Mrs Deegan continues to support us in the classroom throughout the day.

How you can help at home

There will be homework issued this term with some ‘must do’ and ‘can do’ tasks. The must do tasks will be spelling, reading and numeracy. If the children are struggling to complete all three at home – please do not worry. I understand how busy some of the boys and girls are during the week. A homework grid and jotter will go home weekly alongside a reading book. Please remind children to return both their jotter and reading book, even if they have not managed to complete it.
