The class have settled in very well after the October holidays and are back into our routine! We have had a great first week back full of Halloween fun and look forward to seeing what we will get up to for the term. Our PE days are now a Tuesday and a Thursday, Mr Coyle will take the class on a Monday afternoon for some ICT sessions. Miss Doyle will continue to have the class on a Friday as well.

How you can help at home…  

How you can help at home: We are in the process of developing the homework grids to make them better suited. When homework resumes for P2  it is important to practise the new sounds we learn in school. Counting forwards and backwards will help us and it is really helpful if we can start and stop at different numbers.

 The best thing you can do to support your child is to read to them daily. Please make sure you write your child’s name on all their belongings so they can be returned to the correct owner. We acquired a rather large “lost and found” last term and this makes the process of returning items much easier.
