Last was very busy indeed with getting to know each other and setting up our classroom to fit with our needs and wants.

Thank you to all parents who managed to come along to Meet the Teacher, Class Assembly and our Stay and Play session – you will shortly be enjoying the clay monsters at home!

We have another packed term ahead with Christmas activities and the start of our high school visits (see end for important dates).

How you can help at home

Encourage children to practise telling the time (Use watches/clocks, notice durations (how long tv programs last, how long food takes to cook..etc)

Ask children to teach you some of the strategies we have been using to increase confidence with multiplication. Encourage them to practise Times tables.

Homework grids will be issued monthly, children can submit homework in class on Fridays or by emailing/posting on X. See homework grid issued for further details.

Dates to note

High School transitions – our first 2 sessions will be on Wednesday 4th and Wednesday 11th December.

P7a Stay and play – please note the original date has changed due to our high school visit. This will now be on Tuesday 26th November at 1.45pm.
