We have been learning all about taking away in room 4.We know  that the number gets  smaller as we take away and we have learned about the special sign we use to show “takeaway” in our number sentences.

 

We have used physical objects such as cubes and bears to help us solve our calculations, and today we explored how we can draw pictures and “take away” by crossing them out.
