As well as ongoing assessment in classes, S5 and S6 pupils will be engaged in formal assessments this term. This is an important part of gathering evidence of progress. Formal assessment information has been shared with pupils and Mr Neil is also sending out reminders before each assessment.

Our Undergraduate Open Days will be taking place virtually this year on:
Wednesday 28th October 1.30pm – 6pm
Saturday 14th November 10am – 2.30pm

Higher Education Information Evenings
At this time of year we would ordinarily be visiting many schools to provide information to parents as well as pupils about the UCAS process. In recognition of this we have scheduled Information Evenings which will be particularly useful for parents. Our first one of these was very successful and well attended. UCAS are running a number of subject specific virtual events over the coming weeks. Strathclyde will be in attendance along with a wide selection of other Universities from across the UK. The details are as follows:

An Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) is a weekly allowance payable to eligible students who have achieved 100% of their agreed attendance each week at school. It is payable on a 2 weekly basis.
