Final Selection of Options S2 into S2:
Pupils were briefed on next steps at the online catch up session 28.01.21. They were told that final options can be selected, or a pastoral care consultation requested using the following form:
Pupils were also told that they would receive an email to their Glow Outlook account on 01.02.20 with specific, individualised information. It is essential that pupils show this email to parents and discuss. A sample of the letter can be downloaded here:
We need to a response to the above form by midnight, Friday 12.02.2021. This may be to confirm existing options, or to request support from staff.

Changes as result of school closure/lockdown:
Prior to the close of school in December, we had published plans to open final options choice at this time. Understandably plans have had to change as a result of not being able to work together in the school, in person. We had been scheduled to be beginning the selection of final choices for S2 into S3 at this point. This has been postponed for a short period.
We also recognise that as a result of some pupils self isolating or being ill before the holidays not all have had a chance to participate in the scoping exercise. We have opened this again, and it can be completed here:
The scoping exercise form will remain open until 30.01.21

Parents Information Evening & Launch of S2 into S3 Options for 2021:
The Options Choice process for S2 into S3 will commence week beginning 07.01.20
This starts with an online information evening for parents on Monday 07.01.20. This is designed to be accessed using school iPads, however it can be accessed on other devices using a glow login to access Microsoft Teams.
The presentation for the evening can be viewed in advance here:
Questions are invited at the online information evening.
As well as providing this information evening we have updated our S2 into S3 Options Booklet:
The booklet can be accessed easily on the school iPads and we would recommend that it is saved in the ‘Books’ app.
