One of the standout moments of 2024 was Glasgow Schools’ Big Band taking centre stage at the iconic Old Fruitmarket, headlining their own show and sharing the spotlight with some of the most exciting young jazz, funk, and soul musicians from across the city. Joining Glasgow Schools’ Big Band on stage will be an incredible lineup of guest bands, showcasing the best of Glasgow’s young musicians: Holyrood Secondary’s ‘Rood Soul’, Bannerman High’s Jazz Band, Lourdes Secondary’s ‘Second Hand Soul’, Shawlands Academy’s Soul Band, Hillpark Secondary’s ‘Better Call Soul’, and Rosshall Academy’s Function Band.
