We bid a sad farewell to Mrs Stalker today as she starts her new post in North Ayrshire next week. Thanks for all her hard work over the years and best wishes for her new post.
The Stars Class have been getting to know each other by talking about friendship and doing activities together. We made a birthday board based on ‘The Greatest Showman’ and compiled a Class Charter. In the Garden we harvested carrots and courgettes we’d grown and made a tasty stir fry at H.E.
The boys in the Bluebells have had a great first week back. The children have demonstrated their confidence by taking on new class jobs and interacting well with each other during play and work times. They also put their cooking skills to the test and made some yummy chocolate crispie cakes to celebrate the end of their first week back!
The Moonbeams have had a great first week back. We have all been working very hard and have enjoyed making new friends in our new class. We discussed our class rules and made a life size school boy to label with our rules. We were confident individuals when we made pizzas during cookery. We all were excellent at showing off our chopping skills. We enjoyed making monster canvases using straws to blow the paint. We even gave them exciting names.
The Transition boys were responsible citizens, making sure the class was clean and tidy after all the activities that they have completed this week.
The transition boys were successful learners when playing numeracy games in the atrium. They used different equipment to count their steps and played lots of fun games. Great fun had by all!
Transition boys were effective contributors working together to make delicious breakfast rolls.
