MacMillan Coffee Morning Success

Miss Davidson and Mrs Mackie are hugely proud of their P7 pupils who ran the MacMillan Coffee Morning on Friday. Each child played their part in delivering a great event for a worthy cause.
Thank you again to all those super bakers out there who kindly brought some treats in for the event and to those who came along to support the event.
This year we managed to raise £378.49, well done everyone!

Top of the School

Here are our P7s for the 2019-20 session. They have many responsibilities including looking out for the younger pupils as Gargie Guides and Prefects and setting a good example through the Gargieston Values – Kindness, Respect and Happiness.

Cricket

Well done to our cricket teams who won yesterday’s competition at the Scott Ellis Playing Fields. We all had a great morning, thank you to Mark for organising it!

P5 and P6 Summer Trip – Kelburn Castle

Cricket Cup Final

Huge congratulations to our cricket team who stormed through the regional qualifying round in May and made it to the Cricket Scotland National Primary Schools’ Cup Final which took place yesterday in Perth.

The team played superbly in their first ever tournament and maintained high levels of enthusiasm throughout the whole day. They finished on a high and even got an autograph from Scott Cameron, a Scotland player!

NASUWT National Primary Hockey Festival

Well done to Freddy, Abbey, Ross, Charlie, Ryan and Cameron from Primary 6 who represented Gargieston at the National Primary Hockey Festival.

Over 25 schools from across Scotland descended upon the Glasgow National Hockey Centre for a day of friendly matches on the Commonwealth pitch.

Our team displayed amazing sportsmanship, showed off their skills and thoroughly enjoyed their day out!

K’Nex Challenge

Huge congratulations to Poppy and Isla from P6 who came third in the K’Nex Challenge which took place at Crosshouse Primary on Friday 15th March. Your hard work and dedication at lunchtimes really paid off, well done girls!

K-nex Challange

Recently in electives, Miss Davidson chose two p6 pupils for the K-nex challenge. Good luck to Poppy Alexander and Isla Crawford in the challenge tomorrow.
