Book Week Scotland is an annual celebration of books and reading that takes place across the country. Yesterday Primary 1 visited the Dick Institute to be gifted a Bookbug Primary 1 Family Bag to take home. They listened to three stories before voting for their favourite. At assembly in the afternoon Primary 2 and 3 were gifted a Read, Write, Count bag. The aim of Read, Write, Count is to encourage families to include reading, writing and counting activities in their everyday lives.
