Group 5 Circle Time Tuesday 31st March

Hello everyone,

Today I am feeling like Mr Bump! I think I did too many jobs in the garden over the weekend and now I am feeling a bit sore!

Which Mr Man or Little Miss are you today?

The weather forecast is for cloudy weather where I live but at the moment it is too dark to see!

It is too dark to see the weather yet!

What is the weather like outside your window?

Today’s suggested timetable is: PSD, ICT, Dance and snack, story, sign of the day and fiddly fingers. Then lunch followed by Gardening and health and well-being.

During PSD time I am going to join in with Gerry’s movement session to try to ease up my sore knees and back. Why not join in too?

Check out the ICT page for today’s suggested tasks and then relax with Rachel and some of her dance moves.

The story choices today are …

In this story a sleep bear gets woken up by his friends. Find out why they are so keen for him to wake up and what he gets up to whilst they sleep.

or …

In this story Slinky Malinki (a cat) goes out to meet his friends. Find out what they get up to and where they all settle down at the end of the night.

At the moment Bear Stays Up has the most votes so if you would like to see Slinky Malinki you better let me know by replying to this post! I will post the most requested story after break.

For Fiddly Fingers can you build a teddy tower. I managed a tower of 5 teddies. Could you do better? Let me know how you got on or e-mail me a picture.

After lunch check out what Scott is up to in the gardening section of the Blog and then check in with me for Health and Wellbeing and an update on the cake competition!

Have a lovely day, back soon!

Sarah

Good Morning Everyone.

I hope you’ve had a good weekend and are ready for some learning. There are lots of exciting things and ideas on the blog. Have a look.

Today is Monday but what’s the date?

Have a look outside and see what the weather is for today.

How are you feeling? I’m happy as the weather is better but a little sad because I’m missing you all.

I hope you’re all remembering your household chores task.

look at the poster below and choose one to do today.

Today is our community time. You can’t visit the library but you could go outdoors. What will you see?

Can you find some writing?

Can you find a number bigger than 10

How many red cars can you see?

Can you hear birds?

How many dogs can you see?

I’ve put some photos of what I saw in my community on Sunday.

Can you take photos of what you see or write it down and share it here?

Look at the Maths area for maths work for later.

Enjoy your day.

The weather here is cloudy again and I think it might rain a bit.

Your suggested timetable for the day is PSD, Maths, Fiddly Fingers, break, story, sign of the day and music, lunch and then dance and sensory time.

For PSD time why not make a list of jobs that you could help with round the house. Here are some suggestions:

How will you help around the house today?

Or perhaps you could help with the cooking. Maureen made some lovely looking scones:

Maureen made carrot and corriander scones. What flavour scones could you make?

Or you could have a go at this challenge. This is a photo of something in my house. I have made it a bit blurry but can you guess what it is? Let me know your ideas by replying to this post.

Can you guess what this is a picture of?

Have a good morning. I will be back later with the story of the day. Remember to let me know if you would like to hear Mog’s Bad Thing or Hairy Macclary’s Rumpus at the Vets.

See you soon, Sarah
