Health Fortnight Begins…

Hopefully you have by now seen the information for Sports Day tomorrow. If not, it is here on the blog and also on Teams in the Important Messages Channel.

Sports Day and the and the activities on the Health Grid (posted below) should be the main focus of these final two weeks of school before the holidays. I have also posted a normal learning grid just in case anyone has time for something else. All previous work is still available on the blog and on Teams so if there is anything you want to go back and do, or finish off the option is there.

P4 Reflection

It was great to talk to so many of you on our Teams Meet today. It is the best part of my week when I get to talk to you all.

Once again you have all been very very busy. I am so impressed by how much maths you are getting through. Well done! Your posters about how to store medicine safely are super and full of good advice. The creativity shown in your designs inspired by African patterns is amazing. This is one very proud teacher here.

Here are a few of your comments from the week:

Freya – I liked spelling.  I just like practising it over and over again so you don’t have to think about it any more.

Lakshya – I enjoyed doing flashback cards, comparing fractions and the fact families (multiplication and division).

Olly – I enjoyed doing adding, multiplying and division. I also liked doing Epic and medicine poster.

Sophie – I enjoyed comparing fractions because it was fun 😁

I hope you all have a great weekend and build up all your energy so that you are ready for our Health Fortnight and Sports Day. Go P4!

Learning at Home Week 9 for P4

Once again you have all been amazingly busy this week. Some of the activities this week have been 3k runs, baking cookies, making bird feeders, litter picks, messy science experiments, dog walking, measuring out 2m distances on the street so you can chat to friends, football challenges and learning to make a cup of tea. That’s not to mention finding out about Africa, hammerhead sharks, woodpeckers, or the life of lions. Well done all of you. Here are a few of your comments and some photos.

O – This week I enjoyed the May Calendar and problem solving and maths and fractions.

L – I enjoyed learning how to make a cup of tea and writing the instructions.

L – I enjoyed doing the NYCOS daily lesson because it was a bit tricky and a bit easy. My favourite was Nima Naja.

S – I enjoyed the column addition and subtraction because I liked working them out. 😊

Learning from Home Week 8

Here is the learning grid for Learning from Home Week 8. Don’t forget you can also access everything on Teams as well.

If you haven’t done the learning from home questionnaire from the council, please could you do that first. The link for pupils is on the blog, I think dated Thursday 21 May, and it is also on Teams.
