A Drawing of us Drawing
We were thinking about what we’ve enjoyed this year and Freya drew this incredible picture of her table group while they were drawing pictures of the school in a recent Art lesson. Here’s a photograph of the same scene – look how similar her drawing is to real life!
An Eco Inspired Building
Some of the P3 boys were so inspired by the episode of Grand Designs that we have been watching that they decided to build their own Grand Design! It is a curved, eco-friendly bungalow with solar panels, wind turbines and a water butt.
Callum’s amazing houses powerpoint
Callum made this fabulous PPT at home. I am delighted that so many pupils are practising their learning at home. Well done Callum.
Amazing Art
Our recent Art activity was inspired by the work of local artist Isobel Finnie. Mrs. Finnie draws famous local buildings onto local maps. We drew our own school building, then we traced over our drawing onto a laminating pouch using Sharpies. We put the pencil drawing in the pouch to be laminated, but we also put in a map of Peebles so that our Sharpie drawing was over the map. Impressive double sided Art!
