Games designers in action
We have started to make games which use magnets.
A fun plural making game online
Roy the Zebra helps us think about plurals
This game is very easy but it’s fun! P3 have been thinking about plurals when a word ends in a hissing sound (ss, zz, sh, x, tch.) For these nouns you need to add es.
P4 have been learning about words ending in y:
vowel + y = add s
consonant + y = change the y to I and add es
and they have been looking at irregular plurals:
men, sheep, geese, mice. What other irregular plurals do you know?
Fractions investigations
Red balloon Blue balloon fraction investigation
Jay and Adam have been using good thinking skills to solve this interesting problem. They worked well together, listening to each other’s thinking.
Do you agree with their solution?
P4 have started writing scripts for their first ever podcasts
Listen to podcasts and find out what a podcast is.
What is a podcast?
What topics could we write and record podcasts about?
Read e books with Oxford Owl
You can read lots of wonderful books online with Oxford Owl.

P3 used this website in ICT on Wednesday. What books did you enjoy? Why did you like this book? What kind of books do you like to read?
We made our own compasses and they work!
World Book Day Our Harry Potter Door
For World Book Day we decorated our doors. We did our door as Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. First we planned our door and saw how high our door is.
