We dug with a spoon, but an archaeologist would use a trowel! Then once we had spotted an object we carefully brushed the sand away.
We found some wooden objects, bracelets, coins, keys, mixing dishes and buttons. We were able to work out lots of things about the people who used these objects e.g. they were clever craftsmen.
Looks very interesting boys and girls.
I can do bunk bed sums in my head now
Fantastic Rana.
I like doing the amazing digging.
I am delighted. It was worth all that effort to bring in the sand and artefacts!
I like the sand experiment
That’s great.
My friend Rowena’s mum is an archaeologist. I want to be one too.
That would be a great choice of career Ruaridh.
