A huge well done to Keira who auditioned and secured a place in the Beauty & The Beast pantomime this year.  We wish you every success and look forward to hearing all about your exciting adventure. What a superstar!

Aldi’s Kit for Schools

September 13, 2019 by Mrs Paterson | 0 comments

Langloan Primary School would love your help. We are participating in the Aldi’s Kit for Schools programme which runs from 6th September until 3rd November.  This will give our school the chance to win £20,000 to kick-start a health legacy in our school. We have to collect 300 stickers and complete the large poster you see below. If you shop in Aldi and spend £30 or more on your shopping they will give you stickers in return. Pupils should bring the stickers into school and add them to our poster.

Thanks for your help and support!

World Sepsis Day

Tomorrow is World Sepsis Day and as a school we would like to raise awareness of this.  We are inviting our children to wear odd socks to school tomorrow and to bring a £1 donation for a very worthwhile cause.  All monies raised will be donated to the Sepsis Trust.

Our train journey.

We went on the train from Blairhill to Bellgrove.  On the way back the train did not stop at Blairhill, so  we had to go to Sunnyside. We then had to get a another train back to Blairhill. What an adventure we had!

Room 6 Circuits

Primary 4/5 worked together in teams to create circuits. Each team managed to light a bulb and sound a buzzer. Two groups even managed to add a switch! Well done!

Room 6 Reading

Primary 4/5 have been working hard this morning on their reading. The class worked in pairs to summarise the main events of the story we read. Some pairs then chose to read their ideas out to the rest of the class!
