Keeping active throughout the day is very important for our health and wellbeing especially when it is too wet to get outside. Click HERE to watch a video of one of our favourite clapping games from the book of whole brain workouts by Jenny Mosley.

We have been working so hard learning to add and we are getting really good at it. We have explored lots of different strategies, we can count on, jump along the number line, use ten frames, rekenreks, counting beads, pictures, cubes, numicon, dominos, use doubles and near doubles, turn facts around and use subitising to recognise addition stories. For the most part our learning is active, having fun while we learn helps us grow in confidence. Click here to see just one of our many active addition activities.
