Nursery Applications for session 2024/25

Please pass this information on to anyone you know has a child who will be 3 before 28th February 2025

Applications for the 2024-2025 session of nursery are now open.

​

 

The Government funding start dates are where a child’s third birthday fall on or between:

  • 1 March 2024 and 31 August 2024 they will be eligible for funding from August 2024 (autumn term) occurring in that year.

  • 1 September and 31 December 2024 they will be eligible for funding from January 2025 (spring term) following their birthday.

  • 1 January and last day of February 2025 they will be eligible for funding from April 2025 (summer term) following their birthday.

Application forms can be found online at https://www.northlanarkshire.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/early-learning-and-childcare/early-learning-and-childcare-applications

 

Please complete the online application and send via email to your first choice provider.  If your first choice is Langloan Nursery, please send it to enquiries-at-langloan@northlan.org.uk along with all supporting paperwork (birth certificate/passport and Council Tax bill).  Please ensure you have made three choices of provider.

 

Where you do not have access to IT, paper copies can still be accepted by your first choice nursery.

Should you be unable to provide a current council tax bill  a copy  can be requested via the following link; View and manage your council tax account online | North Lanarkshire Council.

P1 enrolment times

Dear parent/carer

If your child will turn five years of age between the 1st of March 2024 and the 28th of February 2025, please enrol them in their catchment area school next week – Monday 15th – Friday 19th January 2024.

In order for us to complete the registration process you MUST bring your child’s birth certificate and a copy of your current council tax bill.  You may bring your child with you if you wish, but this is not essential as we can have a small queue of parents waiting at times.
