We are having fun today in the playroom – smart boards activities, puppet shows, construction, drawing, reading and kitchen.

Room 6 have been working collaboratively this afternoon to research the rainforest. We used secondary sources of information, like maps, posters, diagrams, websites, fact files and books to find out more!

A huge well done to Rhys who was this week’s Star of the Week. He has been so hard-working, well-mannered and friendly. Keep up the great work!

Room 3 worked in groups to research some of the dinosaurs that existed during different periods of time.

P7 pupils worked in co-operative learning teams to create a fact-file on a chosen WW2 key leader. They used iPads to research specific criteria, set by themselves, and compiled their findings in their jotters. Good work everyone!

The children have been busy this morning in maths. We have been exploring different strategies to help us divide quickly and accurately.

The boys and girls in room 3 wrote their own New Years’s resolutions today. There were so many different ideas from tidying up bedrooms to learning new sports! I think they will do really well with their new goals!

Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the hands on experience of measuring different items in cm and m. They worked together to write their answers in 3 different ways!
