On the 10th of March primary 5 -7 will be doing Scottish opera in the school hall . The man who
helps us do it is really good, his name is Roger . We are really excited about it .We think Roger is really funny. We are really good at the first song. In the 5th song we split up into 4 groups. We like our groups. Our groups are runners, swimmers, hammer throwers and tug of war.
Paddy was yesterday’s class student, he came from Germany .It was one of the girls in our class who brought him in. Paddy has a belly button. Yesterday the fire bell went and we left paddy in the class room but it was a test so he was alright .We are glad because he is very expensive .It was our friends dad who got her it. The make of the bear is Steiff. It is extremely cute . He is gold and brown, he has a short, puffy tail and he wears clothes to impress.
When you are chosen to bring in a student you have to introduce them to the class. All of the other boys and girls in the class have to listen really well because the teacher asks them to answer questions about what you have told them in your introduction.
When it is time for maths, the person who brought the student in has to explain to their student what they are learning that day. They also have to do this for all of the other things that we are doing in class.
At the end of the day, the person who brought the student in has to talk about all of the things that the student has learned that day.
I have noticed that some of you have been joining in the World Maths Day games at home, Well done!! 😀
I have also been joining in and I have been playing against other teachers all over the world. Some of the countries are Bulgaria, Australia, United States, Ireland, India and Guatemala.
I find that I am getting faster at answering the questions because I have played a few games.
What countries have you been playing against?
How have you found the different levels of difficulty?
Level five for the teachers is very challenging!!!

We have started a new topic called the rainforest. Rainforests are usually called jungles because the rainforest has long grass that has never been cut and that means it is very very long and there are lots of animals and plant species but there are still many to discover. Our class has been working on the rainforest for a couple of weeks and we have learned a lot but we have still got a lot more to learn. We will tell you a little bit about the rainforest. The rainforest is a place where lots of animals and plant species live. There are also tribes who live in the rainforest. We learned that there are four layers in the rainforest and we are learning the different layers that each of the animals come from at the moment. We have began our rainforest display in our class. Jorgia and Steven did the art work for the background. We think they did a great job!!
