Term 2 – 2024-25

This term will see pupils in P7B going ‘back to basics’ and learning the core admin skills needed for life in the 21st century. As children progress through the term, they will develop their confidence and understanding in different areas of the Microsoft packages available to us. They will learn how to modify text and images, create presentations and store these using a shared cloud space. Furthermore, children will be given the opportunity to explore search engines and how we can use these correctly for personal research, IDL work and more.

In Primary 1-3, children will be learning the basic fundamental skills needed in the digital world. Children will develop their typing and mouse skills, explore different applications and much more. They will also have the opportunity to explore ‘Coyle’s Construction Corner’ and make objects using K’Nex and our new Make-Do toolkits.

All classes will explore different features of the new school iPads and learn how to use them appropriately whilst having some fun too.
