How can you help at home

Chat with your child and get them to tell you all about what they have been learning. Please continue to encourage some reading for enjoyment and also practising number facts and multiplication facts – this makes a huge difference to their learning. The pupils now have access to a new app called ‘ANTON’. Their logins can be found in their homework packs if they would like to login at home. Also Top marks and Maths Frame have lots of educational games if you have access to a laptop or tablet.

Home learning is issued every month in the form of a paper grid which I discussed at parent’s evening. There are spelling, reading, talking/writing, maths and other activities available on this grid to help the children get used to completing homework tasks before beginning high school. Bug Club books are also issued with homework the homework packs.

Our second stay and Play will take place on the 18/12/24 from 2 – 2.45pm. We would be delighted if you could come along.
