Newton Farm Primary School and Nursery Class

Our Week in Room 21

For languages week, the P6s looked at Piet Mondrian who was a Dutch artist. This ties in with our topic of Europe too because he is a famous European artist. We researched him and took notes about him then created our own pieces of art work inspired by him.

P7s are still working hard in their groups to create posters and presentations for their Digi-Inventors Challenge. We can’t wait to see them all finished!

It was the nurture sharing assembly today where we got to share our learning on the nurture principle we’ve been working on. Its ‘the classroom offers a safe space.’ We created mind maps of all the differents ways our classrooms make us feel safe.

We also finished our digital Anne Frank information reports. Three of us managed to get Star Writer certificates for our efforts too!
