This week in Room 5,

L – We learned a nursery rhyme called Frère Jacques because we are learning to talk in French.

J – We have been learning about the sound ‘aw’. Crawled, lawn, dawn which is when the sun is coming up.

F – We have been learning our Christmas songs, ‘Let it Snow’ and ‘Holly Jolly Christmas’.

R – We have been learning new Makaton signs at assembly. We know the signs for ‘biscuits’, ‘drink’ and ‘toilet’.

A – We have been learning new common words – very, took, fast, there.

L – We have been learning to count in 5s – 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100.

R – We performed at assembly saying French words. I said “happy in French means ca va bien”. 

Just a little reminder – Monday 13th November is an In-service day so pupils will return to school on Tuesday 14th. Have a lovely weekend everyone. 🙂
