The 2 H’s – Hieroglyphics & Harvest!

This week Room 13 have been finishing off their Egyptian Cartouches.
A cartouche is a fancy Egyptian frame in which people would draw or carve their names in hieroglyphics.
Have a look at some of our designs – can you guess who they belong to?
HINT – Egyptians did not believe in double letters and they also would spell names phonetically. For example:
Finn – Fin
Sophie – Sofe
Kaylah – Kala

Also, to round off the season of Harvest, Room 13 have been reflecting on their lives and sharing what they are truly thankful for. Here are some of the answers:
LH – I am thankful for my family and my bunny.
TW – I am thankful for my dog Bruno.
CB – I am thankful for my Grampa and my Mummy.
EG – I am thankful for Raf – my comfort toy.
AW – I am thankful for my little sister and gymnastics.
AA – I am thankful for all the flowers.
SMc – I am thankful for my special love heart pillow.
HC – I am thankful for my cat Ginny.
