This week in Room 1 our focus has been the farm as part of our FLIPP program. We read the book A Squash and a Squeeze and talked about the meaning of some of the words in the story. We recited the rhyme Mary Had a Little Lamb and identified the rhyming pairs within it.  The boys and girls also enjoyed singing Old MacDonald Had a Farm. To continue our farm theme this week we used our fine motor skills to tell our own story. We used our big imaginations to draw a picture of what the little lamb did when she went to school. The learners all came up with great ideas, please see some examples of our work below.
