Good afternoon,

This week in Room 1 we have enjoyed exploring numbers 0 to 5. The boys and girls were looking at how to write these numbers. Ask you child if they can tell you the rhymes to help us form our numbers correctly. We discussed what these numbers looked like and how to order these numbers. Room 1 had lots of fun carrying out a range of active activities to help consolidate their learning.

We also focused on symmetry this week and enjoyed exploring a range of different pictures and talked about if they were symmetrical or not. We then created our own symmetrical butterflies.
