Your school is currently reviewing how final grades compared to those estimated and checking school based evidence that could support appeals. Pastoral staff are also aware of all outstanding College or University conditional offers and will consider Priority Post Certification Reviews where possible. School staff will contact you directly if they would like to appeal on your behalf.
Post Certification Reviews require your approval and can only be requested by the school. How we identify and process Post Certification Reviews is summarised in our ‘leaflet for parents and candidates’.
Congratulations to all colours recipients and to next year’s Senior Prefect Team, we look forward to working with you.
We are sorry not everyone was able to be included on the list, as we know there are very good candidates who did not make it.
Interviews for Head Boy/Girl will be carried out when we return in August.

SENIOR LEADERSHIP TEAM 2020-2021
We are now in the final week of online work and I am sure you are looking forward to a relaxing summer. Please see attached the 4th edition of the Online Newsletter. We would really appreciate if pupils could continue working up till the latter stages of the week in order to fully prepare them for August. The materials and instructions will remain in Google Classroom, but please note that staff will not be available throughout the summer holidays.
The work and effort at home from so many has been extraordinary and, on behalf of the staff, can I pass on my gratitude to you all under such testing times.
If you require in-school provision and meet the criteria, please click here for the information you need to apply.
This is being coordinated centrally by ERC and you must submit your application by

Please see below the 3rd Edition on our online newsletter. As we draw ever closer to the summer holidays, the temptation for your son/daughter to stop completing work may start to appear. The work carried out in the next two weeks will be pivotal to a smoother transition in August.
On behalf of the Pastoral Care department, can I pass on my thanks to all parents who continue to support learning from home under challenge circumstances.
S5/6 pupils hoping to go to university this year should now have decisions from their university choices. Pupils MUST accept their choice by 18th June 2020. If you don’t the offers will be declined. Better to accept something than have nothing.

Update for families.
Please take a look at this information to find lots of great ideas to help health and wellbeing.
Please see below the 2nd edition of our online learning newsletter. This will give a brief overview of what work has been set from subjects for all year groups this week and, hopefully, provide you with a clear summary of deadlines. We fully appreciate the challenges that are faced by online learning and we wish to pass on our gratitude to all for their efforts. We have three weeks until the summer, but all work handed in between now and then is fully appreciated and significant to their development in all courses of work.
As we are now in a school year, all year groups have been set work as they begin their new subjects. Eastwood will be updating you weekly with a very brief overview of the online learning that has been set. More details will be contained within google classroom and pupils should engage with their classroom teachers if they require more support.
