Christmas Fun

We have enjoyed fun games at our class Christmas party, elf twister, some monkeying around and find the hidden sweet.

We shared gifts, celebrated a birthday, and more Christmas themed art activities.  We were confident individuals in all activities and we have had a lovely week together. We love Christmas!

FAOL: ECO / Sustainable Development – Zero Hunger

Successful Learners     Responsible Citizens

As part of learning about zero hunger. The Moonbeams were learning the difference between needs and wants. They were able to sort a variety of things including shelter, fruits and vegetables, sweets and electronics into the two categories.

We also made up some different Christmas meals, some with lots of food and some with very little. The children were then able to match the different of emotions displayed on children’s faces to the dinner plates.

The Stars class had a lovely Christmas party day. We saw Santa and his trusty elf who gave us all a present and toasted marshmallows. In the afternoon we played party games, pass the parcel, musical statues and corners. We did the hokey cokey, head, shoulders, knees and toes and did dancing to our favourite songs. We enjoyed a tasty party snack too.
