Last month we were very busy boys making our crafts for the Christmas market. We made DIY snowman kits. We added marshmallows for the bodies, and sweets for the arms, nose, eyes and buttons. We had to put all the objects into the bags and the we used our labels stapled to the top.

Oak Christmas Time
We have had a lot of fun activities over the month of December. Visit from reindeers, Santa, trip to the cinema to see Incredibles 2, lots of arts and crafts. Then our big performance in the Christmas show- ‘The Band’. All the boys were confident individuals and successful learners, working so hard to learning their pieces of music for their Jingle Bell performance. Very proud of all the boys!
Look who came to visit….
SANTA!!!!
The Stars class rehearsed hard for the school show. We looked at, listened to and practised singing and signing to the songs, ‘When Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney’, ‘Frosty the Snowman’, ‘Silent Night’ and finally ‘Reach For the Stars’. Alongside the Moonbeams and Sungazers classes we dressed up in character and held props to perform.
Artie’s Tartan Tales
The Stars Class thoroughly enjoyed a visit from Artie Trezise with his Tartan Tales. We had some Christmas based songs alongside some Singing Kettle favourites. Everyone had a great time. Hugh and Toni even managed up to help him perform! Well done.
Christmas Jumper Day
The Sunflower boys had lots of fun today. We had a special visit from Artie this morning and enjoyed a lovely Christmas performance. We loved singing and following the actions given. We then played with the construction toys together building towers. In the afternoon we used foam pictures and added them to our Christmas jumper outline to create our own Christmas jumper.
Artie Christmas sing-a-long!
The Beech Class absolutely loved our visit from Artie this morning. Lots of the young people recognised his songs and sand and signed along!
We were also effective contributors as we all joined together to support Christmas Jumper Day 2018!
