Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a good day yesterday. Just a reminder I am in school this week, please be patient when waiting for a response! Here is our daily plan: Daily Plan- Tues 23rd Feb 2021. I’ll post some Go Noodle activities below to get you started today and waken you up ready for the day ahead. Mrs Dobbie is in school also, so her activities are available for you in the folder, but there will be no check in. I will be with you for a live lesson at 11:00.

Reading _

Task:

L/I To create questions.

S/C I can use my knowledge of what I have read and my knowledge of questioning to ask at least 5 closed questions and 5 open questions.

Task: You can use the Questioning sheet in ‘Class Materials – Mrs Hillan’ folder or just write it on a piece of paper/jotter. You can create more than 5 of each question if you wish – just remember to check if they are open or closed questions. Please put a copy of these into your folder in the Files Section.

We will catch up at 12:15 to see how we are all getting on and see some of your questions.

Please continue with your Scottish Personal Project. I have put the sheet again in ‘Class Materials – Mrs Hillan’ called Personal Project Pointers, giving the sorts of things you should and might want to include in your personal project – you can be working on this at any time you wish. If you have finished your first chosen Scottish topic, you can always pick another!

Wellbeing activities – EXPRESS YOURSELF 22nd Feb 2021

Well done on another great day of learning everyone! I shall be with you again tomorrow. Have a lovely evening!

“1-2 Corona Crew” successes!

Our P7 lockdown business enterprise is doing well- having sold out all 20 packs we had made in our first 2 days!

We have since bought more stock and have another 20 packs in quarantine ready for sale tomorrow or Friday!

Packs contain reusable masks, hand gel, wipes and tissues. This comes in a reusable wipe clean plastic wallet folder- which is great for storing in a bag or in the car!

Packs cost £4 each (or special introductory offer of 3 for £10 – which finishes this Friday!) You can order by emailing Mrs Rodden, phoning the office or bringing cash in an envelope to school . P7 will be happy to serve you!

We are also keen to share our success beyond Deans Primary and are holding a write a letter competition for our P7s. Their challenge is to write a letter to The First Minister, to highlight the skills they are learning – and maybe sell a few more packs in the parliament!!

We thank you for supporting us in promoting our business and Corona virus care!

How to Upload Your Work onto Teams

For the classes who are using Teams for their online learning, it is important to upload your work into your own folder.  Your teacher will be able to see your progress and give you feedback.

If you are unsure how to upload your work onto Teams, here is a simple ‘how to’ guide.
