Yesterday, as part of our science topic ‘Living Things’, Primaries 2 and 2/1 learned about seeds and plants.  We know that plants, fruit and vegetables come from seeds.  We then planted our very own sunflower seeds which we will take home after they have grown a little.

Today in literacy we wrote instructions explaining how we did this and tomorrow we are going to be learning about the different parts of a plant and what they are for.

We know that a plant needs water and sunshine to grow.

We will post some pictures once we start to see some growth.  We hope our green fingers encourage them to grow!
