Fun Friday Family Maths Challenge

2020 was the year everyone displayed rainbows as a sign of better things to come after the difficult times.

Your task is to create a unique handprint filled with some of your Mathematical knowledge. We can then hopefully collate them all into a Boghall rainbow of our own when we all return to school.

Please follow the link below for full instructions.

Good morning Primary 3 and Primary 4/3

We hope you have had a lovely weekend and are ready for another week of remote learning.  As you know, we have a Scottish theme this week and more details on this can be found on your Seesaw pages along with your other learning activities and a family learning task.  If you scroll down you will see links to PDF copies of the P3 and P4 poems just in case you find it easier to work with a paper copy. There are also some copies of the Scottish learning tasks and the family learning task.

Good morning Primary 1 and Primary 2!

We hope you have had a nice weekend and a good rest. This week, Miss Anderson & Miss Keillor will be looking after you on Seesaw and they can’t wait to see all your fabulous work!

Robert Burns Day is next Monday, so our learning this week is going to have a  bit of a Scottish theme!  Down below you will find several links.  It looks like a lot, but don’t worry!

This first link is a PDF file of the Scottish poems.  You will find out more about this on Seesaw, but we thought it might be handy to attach the PDF in case anyone wanted to print off a hard copy for their child to practice from.

Scottish Poetry

These next two links are the learning grids for this week. If you are Primary 1, you should click on the Early level link.  If you are Primary 2, you should click on the First level link. These are suggested activities which give your child a little break from Literacy & Numeracy and provide something a  bit different. All activities this week are based around a Scottish theme. Take a look!

The last four links are links to some fun tartan based activities.  They include learning about tartan and designing your own tartan! These can all be downloaded and printed off, or even copied on to a blank piece of paper.

We realise that this is a lot to take in.  Please, if you have any questions or something doesn’t quite make sense, just head over to Seesaw where you can send a message and a teacher will respond as soon as they can.

We hope you have a great week!
