More P7 Lessons as Teachers
Learners as teachers!
This week Primary 7G have started delivering their own planned lessons to the rest of the class. Today we learned about the science behind slime and how to make it as well as learning how to draw Manga characters and we even learned how to play a chord on the guitar!

P7H and P7G enjoyed their visit this afternoon from Chris George of Denvir Marketing and Cathy Gladwin the creator of Hob Angel.

Cardio to Music
On Wednesday morning P5, P6 and P7 children were offered the opportunity to take part in a Cardio to Music exercise class that I ran in school from 8.30 until 9.00. The feedback was very positive and I look forward to seeing how many children will join us this Wednesday. These 2 taster sessions will determine if I shall continue this style of class after the Easter Holidays. Why not try it out?

Internet Safety Day
As part of Internet Safety Day today, the Bank of Scotland worked with the Primary 6 and 7 pupils to discuss ways to stay safe online. The pupils learned very useful and valuable life skills.
What P7F learned about in October…
Buoyancy and Density
P7F have been experimenting with Buoyancy and Density as part of their science project. We have experimented with how a solid object could be made to float on water by manipulating some Plasticine.
We have experimented with how the density of water will change the ability of an object (an egg) to float by adding salt to it.
Finally, we experimented with the density of different liquids. We predicted whether honey, fairy liquid and oil would float or sink on water then tested our hypotheses.
