Reebops

On Wednesday the P7’s created Reebops.

The way we created them was we were learning about genes and genetics. In pairs we had to chose who was “a” and “b”. Then the a’s got pink pieces of paper with letters on it. The b’s got blue pieces of paper with the same amount of letters on it. So then we had to turn the paper over in the order so we couldn’t see the letters. After we had to randomly pick between the small letters and the capital letters.

The pieces of paper acted as our chromosomes to decide what inherited characteristics our baby Reebops would have!

After that we had to look at what we picked and make our Reebops and they are SOOOOOOOO cute!

Trampet

On Monday in P.E we were using the Trampet. The Trampet is basically a small trampoline that you run up to , bounce, and if you want do a 360 or different shapes in the air.The P7’s were allowed to do a 360 or a 180 if they wanted to.The P5s and 6s had to do either a star shape, a tuck, or a straight shape. Ireally enjoyed it and I am excited to continue doing it in P.E.

WW2 Shelters

This week we have been learning loads about World War Two but this is about the WW2 shelters.

We got to make our own Shelters with lots of useful things like cardboard and paint and sellotape.

We also did a lesson in the afternoon about the WW2 shelters what we did is we put the chairs in a circle and our teacher Miss Calvert told us a lot of facts about the shelters in WW2. But every 5 to 10 minutes there would be a WW2 bombing siren that went off and we would have to go under the tables we used them as shelters. There was the Morrison shelter, the Anderson shelter and the underground shelter.

I thought it was really fun!
