On Thursday 25th September, we organised a fun night to raise money for the Tingwall Hall refurbishment. We had lots of different stalls such as Guess How Many Sweets, Play Your Cards Right, Guess Teddy’s Birthday, Tombola, Hook Football and many more!
We managed to raise £968.59. The treasurer from the Tingwall Hall came to collect the money and we presented her with a massive cheque!
Well done everyone; what an amazing amount of money! We are having lots of work done at Burravoe Hall too and I know how hard it is to find the money for everything so i can imagine how excited the Hall treasurer was.
You should be very proud of yourselves – much hard work and excellent teamwork paid off!
You all seemed to enjoy this topic and learned a great deal about China.
