The Table

The Table

A girl happy from the shop,

Put a bag on the door,

Puts her phone on the table she put her food their too,

The noise of a dog’s bark, the birds tweeting,

The waterfall she had just been to, she put on the table,

And the sun in her eyes she put there,

The noisy children on the table.

On the table the girl put happiness and kindness,

Swimming for the next day, She put there,

Bags and toys, she put there,

The thoughts and feelings for her first school play,

The pretty flowers growing outside, her cat and fish,

The mum who was 26, she put their,

The girls table wobbled a bit, then it stayed still the girl kept pilling things on.
