Scots poem-The fruit in the fruit bowl

The mouldy fruit in the bowl

Theres some fruit in ma bowl some that gone mouldy so,

I wen on a walk with ma dugs, te buy some mere,

While i wis there i bought sutten fere em

And went back hame.

But i didn’t tell ma parents

so he didn’t even ken bout it,

So a few weeks later i told my dugs te sit

So that i could get rid of it!

Ma mother and faither dinny ken what it whis

So they where look’n for the awfy smell

Then they thought it wis it the dugs?

So as quickly as I ken

I chucked to chuck it oot again!

Then Ma mother told me eat some fruit

And wonderin where it aw went.
