Banton chameleons

Habitat

The banton chameleons Live in the banton wood and are nocturnal can live high up in the trees or make burrows under ground. When they are living under ground they use there spade like  laws to build a network off tunnels and work together like ants. They are extremely territorial and cover there entrance with leaves and miniature sticks. The other chameleons that live high in trees live on there own and fend for themselves.

Diet

The chameleons diet is all over the place. But for the chameleons that live under ground they hunt under ground or return to the surface to hunt. When they hunt they usually hunt to fill themselves for two days. For the chameleons that live up high in the trees they hunt ants and little spiders and sometimes if they are lucky they find a mouse.

Nests

When the chameleons are choosing there nest they can be very specific for the ones that live in the trees they need to find a strong enough branch for it to build its nest. When the chameleons are building there nest they worry more about camouflage on the bottom and more decoration on the top to attract mates. For the ones that live under ground they need to choose a place with not a lot off roots and the best camouflaged place.
