Ipads

This year our teacher gave us iPads

We have done some work on these iPads and do taught writing too and we have done a little bit of maths. Sometimes we log on to glow and use yammer. We spend some afternoons and mornings on our iPads we do reading tasks too.

They will be useful to help us work and learn and have fun there are cool apps.We all know how to create documents and share them and we have set up our own blogs and eportfollio. We have used yammer it is an app so we can talk to people. We do art work on these iPads.

  1. Hi, Emma.

I love the photos you chose to use in this post! It gives us a sense of what class is like when you are working with your iPads. I know your teacher pretty well and he told us you had set up this blog to learn.

Those iPads can be a lot of fun with the cool apps, as you say. I will keep checking in to see your creations as the term progresses.

    All the best. Mariana

  2. I’d be interested to hear more about how you are using Yammer in class. Are you using it at home as well?

    Mr Barrs, Fife.

  3. Hello from Stane Primary School in Shotts. I have enjoyed reading your post about how you are using iPads in class. I have set up my own Yammer account in Glow but don’t really know how to use it yet. I’ll look at your blog for some inspiration.

  4. Hello Primary 5-6-7
I used to work with Mr Johnston at the Computer Centre in Airdrie but have now retired from teaching. It is good to see you are working well with the iPads and are enjoying lots of different things with them. Your blog will keep lots of people informed about what you are all doing.

  5. Sounds like the iPads are being worked hard by Banton Biggies!
Did you use an iPad to write this blog post Emma?
Would it be possible to share some screenshots on the blog showing examples of the great things the Biggies are creating on their iPads?
