Hello Mull Class

Hello Mull Class,

What a beautiful day Wednesday was. I hope you managed to get out in the sunshine for some exercise and fresh air.

On a Thursday it’s our French topic. This week we are looking at French Art. Take a virtual tour of the Musee d’Orsay in Paris. You will need to run the slide show from the beginning then click on one of the links to make your way through the museum, experiencing the art and the museum itself.

You can do all your usual daily tasks, checking your calendar and participating in your Sensory Work out and Hand Programme. Remember to carry out your chosen chore of the week and to keep tidying up after yourselves. I’m sure your help is much appreciated. Read your ‘Book of the Week’. I hope you are enjoying it and becoming more familiar with the story, characters and any memorable words or lines. Most importantly keep yourself fit and active by getting out and about for exercise and fresh air.

Have a lovely Thursday everyone,

Jennifer Moncrieff

Hello Mull Class

Hello Mull Class,

Hope you had a good Thursday.

Today we could do some more French topic work. The Tour De France is the biggest cycling race in the world and it takes place every year in France. The cyclists have to travel on flat, hilly and mountainous routes. They also have time trials.

Over the next few weeks we could experience some of the Tour De France by getting out on our bikes or wheels and experiencing the stages that are covered in the race.

Today’s stage is the flat route. Find a flat route and cycle or travel on it for as far as you can. I have uploaded a power point about the Tour De France with supporting visuals.

Read your Book of the Week for the last time this week and don’t forget to carry out this weeks chore or to make or help make your own lunch and snack. Even if its not on your bike, get out in the fresh air for some exercise.

Stay safe, have fun and a lovely weekend,

Jennifer Moncrieff
